New Government Legislation for February 2022

There is new Scottish Government legislation coming into effect from February 2022 regarding interlinked smoke and fire alarms.

While you may be thinking why this is important to mention as a Boiler Installer, interlinked smoke and fire alarms can also be linked with Carbon Monoxide Detectors.

This means that when you have your homes smoke alarm system upgraded, you will be able to add an interlinked carbon monoxide detector fitted as well.  Should your gas boiler then begin leaking, the carbon monoxide detector will be able to activate all of the alarms around your home.  Offering you a bit more piece of mind and safety to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
