How Often Should I Replace My Boiler?
Modern combi boilers have a general lifespan of anywhere between 10 and 15 years depending on what brand and quality of boiler you go for.
Of course if you have your boiler serviced annually then it can and should last longer than this but if you do not take care of your boiler then you are giving it a tougher life and it will bring you more problems further down the line.
Most manufacturers have long warranties that reflect the expected age of the boiler. So while a cheap new boiler may seem appealing, it may have a very short warranty and you could end up paying for another new boiler to be installed in half the time that a better quality one would last you for.
If your boiler is starting to become too expensive to repair or getting hold of spare parts is proving difficult because of the age of the boiler then now is the perfect time to think about replacing your boiler.
