In much the same way that people raise their eyebrows when it comes to the extra insurance packages for holiday car rental cover or the extended warranty on a new dishwasher, boiler servicing to many, is looked at as just another way of getting more of your money.

If your boiler is within its warranty, you have to have it serviced every year to ensure that the warranty stays valid.  So for example, we are a Baxi Approved installer.  And Baxi boilers installed by us come with a manufacturer warranty of 10 years.  But if you miss even one year, that warranty becomes void and as/when/if your boiler breaks down and needs new parts, that cost will be coming out of your pocket.  It is incredibly important yo have your boiler serviced by a qualified gas engineer like ourselves to ensure that your warranty stays valid.
