Guess what day it is?

What on earth does boiler installs have to do with the 4th May? Pretty much nothing.  That’s what.

But considering the dark year we have had wrestling with a global pandemic, not being able to socialise with our friends, see our families and so much more, the 4th of May is something I am happy to celebrate.

What is May the 4th?

Have you watched Star Wars?  Of course you have.  There are probably more people in Scotland who don’t own a mobile phone than those who have not seen Star Wars.  So you will know that a popular phrase in the movie is ‘May the force be with you!’ Relating of course to the Jedi and their ability to harness ‘The Force’.

May the 4th – may the force…..see the similarity?  So May the 4th has become Star Wars day.  And while we are not a Sci Fi fan per say, it is a day we can all get behind to put a bit of a smile on our faces as Scotland finally starts to relax some of the lock down restrictions that have held us all in our homes for so long.
