Older boilers fitted to homes across Renfrewhire, Ayrshire and in the West Coast of Scotland would emit the hot exhaust gases produced by the boiler down the flue pipe while they are operating. Modern condensing boilers take this hot exhaust gas and use it to heat the water within the boiler before it reaches the flue. This simple yet effective process saves on fuel use and helps you to reduce your overall energy bills.

During your boilers ‘normal’ operation, the exhaust gases you see emiting from the boilers flue has been lowered to below 100 degrees.

Modern condensing boilers are far more efficient than older boilers and take the gas energy that is burned further. Depending on what energy rating your old boiler was, you could save as much as £300 per year on reduced energy costs with a new gas boiler.
