A full central heating system install last week
As a Bridge of Weir based Boiler Installer, it is always nice to be able to work on a new boiler install job in our home town.
It makes the commute a bit shorter at the end of the day and it is a nice feeling to know that a fellow resident of this great Town has received a quality boiler install job (if we do say so ourselves).
So last week, we completed a full central heating system install job.
What does a full central heating job cover?
Installing a new central heating system includes a boiler, radiators, heating controls and pipework. Installing a new central heating system generally takes between 2-5 days.
The timeline for a central heating installation generally follows these steps…
The new radiators are usually fitted first.
After the new radiators are fitted, the pipework for the central heating system will be laid that connects the radiators to the boiler with central heating controls also added to the system.
The new Baxi combi boiler will now be installed and to do this the water and gas supply has to be shut off.
And finally, we fill the heating system with water and turn the boiler on. We can then make any setting adjustments to the radiator valves etc to ensure the flow of hot water is suitable to heat your home.
The late spring, early summer is the best time to have a new boiler or central heating system fitted because there is less demand on your heating system when the weather is warmer and it allows your new heating system time to ‘bed in’ before the heavy lifting of winter work ahead.
The new combi boiler we fitted to the home in Bridge of Weir was a Baxi Boiler that comes with a 10 year parts and labour warranty for peace of mind for the customer.
